Applications & offers
1. Complete & submit your application
There are different ways to apply, depending on your residency status and the program for which you are applying.
We recommend that you prepare and submit your application well in advance of the application deadline so that you are able to submit everything that is required on time.
2. Your offer notification
Once your application has been assessed you will be notified of its outcome. All notifications are sent by email so it’s very important that you provide an active email address that you check frequently with your application.
If you have not been successful in gaining admission to ANU, you might want to consider alternative pathways for admission.
3. Accepting your offer
If you receive an offer you must respond to it by accepting, deferring or declining the offer. It is important that you follow the instructions in your offer carefully to ensure that your place is reserved. If you do not accept or defer your offer, it will automatically be withdrawn after census date of the commencement semester.
4. Enrol in your program
After you accept your offer, your acceptance will be processed by the University and you will receive an acknowledgement of your acceptance. The next step after accepting your offer is to enrol in your program. Please be aware that most enrolments do not take place until around two weeks before the program is due to start.
