When to expect an offer

Once you have applied for an ANU program, your application will be considered and you will be notified of an outcome. All offers are made via email, so it is important that you provide an active email address that you check frequently when submitting an application.

UAC applications

Notification of offers for applications submitted through Universities Admission Centre (UAC) are made in rounds. The majority of offers are made in the main round and others are made in later rounds.

See the UAC website for information on offer round dates.

Direct ANU applications

Applications that are made direct to the University are assessed on an ongoing basis and applicants are notified about the outcome as soon as possible.

To ensure that offers are made at an appropriate time, the Admissions Office prioritises applications for commencement in the upcoming semester or session. This means that the notification of outcomes of applications for commencement in later semesters or sessions may take longer.

For enquiries about the status of your application, contact the ANU Admissions Office.
