Campus tours
The Australian National University welcomes visits from people around Australia and the world. If you can't make it to our Open Day and want to find out more about our programs, facilities and see what the campus looks like, why not consider a campus tour?
Who can go on a campus tour?
We encourage visits from both individuals and school groups. You must be in Australia and come to the ANU campus in Canberra to go on a tour.
What is involved in a campus tour?
Campus tours provide an overview of our facilities such as accommodation, libraries, computing and science laboratories, lecture theatres, and sporting and recreational areas.
Students from the University assist with the tours and are able to provide first-hand information about their experiences at the University and the programs that they have undertaken.
We tailor the campus tours to meet your individual needs to ensure that you get the most out of your visit.
How long do the tours last?
The tours usually last about one hour, however, we do try to be flexible.
Tour schedule
Campus tours run throughout the year, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and require a minimum of three working days notice to be coordinated. If you would like to see University accommodation or speak with someone from a particular academic College during your tour, simply mention this in your email and the Campus Tours Coordinator will endeavour to arrange this for you.
