Website changes
Student websites are changing and it might be a little messy while we sort it all out. Thanks for persevering with us and making great suggestions.
The changes will be gradual, but we hope for the better, as we combine a number of websites into a single home for students.

Reorder of top level menu items
The top level menu items have been reordered to more closely reflect how students progress through their academic life cycle.
Release four – adding sections for 'Assessment & examinations' and 'Graduations & prizes'
The fourth release included the following changes:
- a new section called 'Assessment & examinations' was added which tells you everything you need to know about assessments and examinations related to your program of study
- a new section called 'Graduation & prizes'' was added which enables you to find out about graduation ceremonies and the wide range of prizes given in recognition of outstanding performance, academic achievement or service.
Revision to Thinking about ANU section
The Thinking about ANU section has been renamed Programs & courses and some content rearranged to make access to programs more direct.
Release three – adding sections for 'Fees' and 'Scholarships'
The third release included the following changes:
- a new section called 'Fees' was added which provides information on the fees and costs associated with your study. You will be able to find out how much you have to pay, due dates and census dates, fee assistance options and refunds and sponsorship arrangements
- a new section called 'Scholarships' was added which enables you to find out about the wide range of scholarships to assist with the costs incurred during your university Life Cycle. Scholarships differ in value and may be offered to cover some or all of the costs associated with tuition, accommodation, materials, cost of living and other expenses
- a significantly enhanced search feature that will return results from the below four sections of the ANU website:
- Student gateway
- Student life section
- Programs & courses
- Entire ANU web.
Search results from each of these section will be displayed under tab headings to enable you to select the most relevant information.
Release two – adding sections for 'Managing your program' and 'Student life'
The second release included the following changes:
- a new section called 'Managing your program' was added which provides information on enrolling & re-enrolling in courses, deferring your studies, how to apply for course exemptions, studying outside ANU and many more program management options
- a new section called 'Student life' was added which enables you to find out about the diverse range of support services, programs and activities to enhance your student experience.
Release one – combining future and current students tabs, adding sections for 'Thinking about ANU' and 'Applications & offers'
Our first change merged the 'Future Students' and 'Current Students' tabs together into a single site - the tab now just reads 'Students'. This release included the following changes:
- icons such as Wattle & ISIS were moved from the left-hand side to the middle of the page
- the Future students tab became a menu item 'Thinking about ANU'
- a new section called 'What's happening' was added.
- a new section called 'Applications & Offers' was added.
