ANU offers programs and courses in a range of academic areas. These academic areas are broadly grouped together and delivered by the seven ANU Colleges and the National Security College.
Most undergraduate and graduate coursework programs allow students to elect specific courses and study across multiple academic areas.

The ANU Medical School offers a four-year graduate entry medical degree, the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. The program explores several key themes including medical sciences, clinical skills, population health, social foundations, professionalism and leadership, rural experience and Indigenous health.

National Security College degrees and courses are taught at graduate and higher degree research levels only.
